Véronique Chetmi Eyali is a doctoral student in political science at Laval University in Quebec. She holds a master's degree in political science with a specialization in political sociology from the University of Douala, Cameroon and a bachelor's degree in women and gender studies and journalism and mass communication. Her research focuses on the epistemic injustices affecting indigenous feminism. Particularly interested in concepts of social justice and the decolonization of knowledge, she seeks to analyze and better understand the effects of hermeneutic and testimonial injustices on the construction, recognition and valorization of Indigenous knowledge in general, and Indigenous feminist knowledge in particular. Her doctoral project is co-directed by Professor Thierry Roddon.
