Indigenous mobilization, mining development and contractual agreements. Comparative research perspectives on New Caledonia and Canada

As part of the CIERA lunch, Claire Levacher, postdoctoral fellow, will make a presentation on the Kanak populations' demands regarding the environment, recognition of and access to new collective rights, as well as the sharing of mining rents, in order to chart comparative research avenues between New Caledonia and Canada. The conference will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Pavillon Charles-De Koninck (Université Laval), in room 0450. Please note that the presentation will be in French.
